Butler Brothers - Family History
It began in 1963 in Vienna, Virginia, when two brothers were kicking around ideas for earning extra income. Charlie Butler was a career fire fighter, and Gene worked for the government. Because carpentry was a Butler family tradition, it seemed the most logical idea to pursue. What began as a series of side jobs, however, soon grew into a thriving full-time operation. In 1978, the brothers made it official and formed Butler Brothers Corporation. Together, Gene and Charlie tackled all types of renovations, from residential to light commercial, throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. Today, Gene's son, Vince, continues to build upon the foundation laid by his father and uncle years ago. Since the early 1980s, the company has narrowed its focus and set its sights on becoming the premier remodeling firm in Northern Virginia. Creating exceptional kitchens and baths is a Butler Brothers specialty.
